Spending a day at the pool

The temperature is high today
People are looking for ways to freshen up
A great idea cheers me up
my friend invite us to her pool to play

We run and jump into the pool
At once, we feel fresh and cool
Many toys are floating around
including a huge whale for us to mound

It turns into what a party
There were chips and pretzels
Flowing juices and orange seltzers
Everyone who comes is so happy

Donnatella, the poodle, at a Bistro

Donnatella, the poodle, spent an afternoon with her friends.
With the sun out and about, Donnatella just needs to be out
getting ice cream at her favorite place, Mama's bistro.
Their ice cream is so velvety; every scoop
into her mouth slided through her throat.
Time spent with friends was always precious and full of laughters.
She loved to make new friends.

Swimming like a fish

Splish splash splussshhh
All the kids are swimming in the pool
Goggle and fins are a must
For my first day at this pool

In the water I go
Teacher and friends say hello
Blow bubbles inside the water
First lesson to be a swift swimmer

Floating like a starfish
My tummy feels ticklish
Making balloon face like a blowfish
In no time, I'll swim like a real fish

The Sun is fully up

Next stop is the beach
Or the luscious state parks
Packed up some peach
and don't forget the energy bars

Cycling, swimming, hiking
Carnivals, festival and waterparks
Under the summer sun
People are having fun
